Secondly, I was able to go on the 15-night Westbound Panama Canal cruise on the Magic in May. Now, a trip aboard the Magic by itself isn't something that is ultra exclusive. But the people that we met and the experiences we had on the cruise made the trip all that more special and cool. Let me say that after 15-nights of being on a ship with 2,000 other people, you start to meet people. And a lot of us became good friends. I still keep in contact with about a dozen people, one of which was my friend I listed above in L.A., and another was a Disney historian that DCL brought onboard for lectures. Again, looking back afterwards, I can't imagine not going on that trip.
I agree... the PC Repo was pretty incredible... especially going through the locks and being greeted by all the people there... just cause we had Mickey Mouse with us!!!
I was in the utilidors BEFORE they were open to the tours...
I did the Yuletide tour which brought us backstage to the Holiday wearhouse and also you got to see the Monorail barns.
I did the Disney Institute when it was more like summer camp than it is now. I got to go see the Team Disney building which has the worlds largest Sundial in it - the roof looks like a watch from the air... http://www.greatbuildings.com/cgi-b...y_Building.html/28.36537/-81.52145/18/600/800
and we also took classes where we went over to the gardens at the Land and picked our own produce and went back and cooked with it.
