What is the most convenient car rental company at MCO?

I need to rent a car at the airport-not looking for cheap where I have to shuttle off property to get to the cars-just the fastest/most convenient rental compan(ies). I just want to get my car at the airport and go, and be able to return right at the airport without taking a shuttle. Hopefully one where I can just go pick my car out of an aisle of cars and just go. Does anyone know?

There are several right there. We've used Alamo the last couple of times and found it pretty easy.

All the majors are right there.

We use national if DH is with us because he's Executive and has a corporate code that he's allowed to use.

We use alamo if it's just me because they are almost as convenient as national and I can't use the code DH can.

You will have at least a 5 min. walk from luggage collection point ... 10 min. from Mono rail ,

to car pick up stalls.

Down to ground level .... Check in at car Hire desk ... out to roadway ...... cross over road .. into garage

We use Alamo and are able to check in online and bypass the counter altogether. It's an amazing service! We just walk out to the garage, grab our car, and we're all set

Alamo is the best. I do online check in at home and print my paperwork at home. After getting my luggage and walk out and pick out my car. Drive to the exit booth show my paperwork, DL and CC and off I go.

I've used Dollar the last few trips. I have their express ID so as long as I book direct and my credit card that is on file is not expired, I can walk out to their area, look on the board to see what vehicle I've been assigned and go right to the vehicle with my paperwork.
I do not get to choose my own car with them. But that's ok - it's never been an issue.

One thing to keep in mind is if you use something like Carrental.com or orbitz to rent the vehicle, I've always had to check in at the rental desk instead of going right to the car area so I've stopped using those 3rd party reservation companies for rental cars.

We use Hertz exclusively. Gold members so we get a text with our stall number and get to bypass the counter every time. The paperwork is automatic when we get to the exit booth...they scan a barcode on the car and print it up and hand it to us. I get amazing rates at the last minute all the time at MCO. You can make and cancel as many reservations as you want without penalty when a cheaper rate comes up. And all the cars are always super new and clean.
