What is the most busy place you have been during lockdown?

Wal-Mart and it was terrible. Worse than Christmastime and I had to wait in line to get in, I don't know if they miscounted or what the point was when it was so stinking crowded. :confused3

Downtown in the city closest to us. We were going for a walk and to pick up ice cream. Forgot the college students had moved back. Between the locals and them they just swarmed everything.

My husband says it’s most crowded in the school where he teaches.

Costco, Goodwill, our local zoo that just opened.

Our favorite micro brew got very crowded last Saturday, but we sat outside.

Texas Roadhouse! Rather than seating every other booth, they have Plexiglas up between each booth so they can seat at all of them. The restaurant was full and we had an hour wait to be seated when we went.

a cracker barrel in idaho. we've not eaten in restaurants since the pandemic came down but were running errands, hungry and so stopped there. i walked in to see what their social distancing was like :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: NONE to speak of. the entire dining area was wall to wall filled and dozens and dozens of people were shoulder to shoulder in the store/waiting area.

needless to say i turned around and left.

Star Line ferry (seats were full but everyone, even young children, wearing masks per the ferry rules) and Mackinac Island. Most people were wearing masks, but social distancing was sometimes not possible. Restaurants were following guidelines. This was on Labor Day for 4-nights. Going back for 4 more nights in 10 days, since it’s now October it will probably be less busy.

Most stores have been pretty good for me when I have gone. At a Target a few weeks ago though I found it to be a bit too crowded with people not really following the rules at all. It was becoming a bit of a madhouse so I exited quickly.

Downtown Disney

It was not too bad early or in the stores since they only let so many people in. But as the day went on, there were just too many people walking around. I left as soon as I got uncomfortable with the crowds. But at least everyone was wearing masks and trying to stand somewhat apart.

We were in Perdido Key, FL days before Hurricane Sally hit. We went in mid-September because we thought it would be less crowded after Labor Day. We were very, very wrong. People were distancing but beaches were mid-summer-busy. This little seafood place we like to go had a 30 minute wait at 8 pm, and that area is not a nightlife place by any means.

(We also didn't like it that servers weren't wearing masks and leaned in to about 18 inches from our faces, but that's another story...)

SLC Airport on the way to the Glacier National Park. It was packed as if the pandemic wasn't happening.

On vacation at a beach town in our country. We drove.. all was ok, people kept their space. Except in this one restaurant.. OMG indoors people were sitting in big groups, younger crowd and back to back... Thanks God we got a table outside or we would have left.. My mom was with us.

I didn't go out much during lockdown but the one time I was in BJ's I was in line to check-out for over 20 minutes.
I never went in but Home Depot and Lowes parking lots were full on the weekends during lockdown.

Downtown Disney on a recent Saturday afternoon. It was a zoo. No social distancing at all. We had dining reservations, so we walked over to Saratoga springs for some peace and quiet until time to eat. We were at Disney for 11 days and did not go back to downtown Disney again.
