What is the Latest Your Waitlist Has Come Through?

Leaving for WDW in two weeks and we are still on the waitlist for the VGF. I was just wondering what was the latest anyone has heard on their waitlist coming through? We had been hoping to surprise our DDs with a stay at the VGF but I am beginning to think this will not be possible at this late date.

I called Disney the day of my trip, wait list had not matched. Got on the plane, arrived after midnight, told I did not have a room. Asked would you check the resort we were to check in for the next night, viola a room. Drove over there and crashed.

Within the first year of VGF opening I w/l'ed a studio w/the W/L lasting til 7 days out...it was just one night...No luck by the end of the last day of the W/L, so of course I "gave up"...then the next day the W/L cleared, so the day after it expired...probably means it cleared on the last day but wasn't entered into the system til the next day. It was just one night and it was early in VGF's existence...but it was as close to the last possible minute as you can get!

I have a week waitlisted which will expire in about a week and a half. I do have a reservation at AKL Jambo which was my back-up. I was hoping to treat my DDs to the VGF because we have had a tough year so far with a death in the family. We all definitely need some time together as a family to reconnect and grieve.

I just had a waitlist come through 3 weeks out. I had 5 nights booked at BWV and was wait listed for the last 2 nights.
