What is the latest news with Diamond Horseshoe Saloon?

I emailed Disney about the closing of the saloon last month and got a very nice phone call a few weeks ago. The CM did not know much about the plans, but completely denied the whole idea of it becoming a character greet. They had received too many emails about it, so they were unsure what they were going to do. Anybody know the latest? I would give anything for it to return to what it was.

I have been told that it will be the home to a new show. Currently it is shut, and the signs read "This area is being refurbished for your future enjoyment."

The name for the new show to replace the now closed Diamond Horseshoe Jamboree is "The Country Character Round-up.”

Slp87, yes I did hear this in the past, but I have recently spoke to a Disney CM specifically about it and he said that too many people were against it and they were reconsidering. Who knows, we'll just have to wait and see I guess. Thanks.
