I was going over the most recent 4 night navigators and see that during Sea Day there is a Jedi Trials of the Temple taking place in the Walt Disney Theater. What is this program? Has anyone seen it/participated and enjoyed it? My boys would get a kick out of anything Star Wars related and were disappointed we weren't sailing during Star Wars Days at Sea... but they love Disney cruises so much that I am sure they will forget their disappointment once on board! ;) Appreciate anyone's comments in advance.

It is very similar to what happens at Hollywood Studios, except you cannot sign up. They randomly pick kids out of the crowd as you walk in, give them a robe and put them through a choreographed "show" where they learn to fight Vader, then one by one they "battle" Vader (they have them make 3 moves basically) and then as a group they use the Force to send Vader away.

To be selected you must be able to fit the robe, which is the average size probably from 7-12, you must have on close toed shoes and they look at how the kids behave as they walk in to try to make sure that the kids aren't too rowdy or won't go off script.

I've seen reports that kids are selected from both entrances of the WD Theater, but in our experience, they only selected kids that were lined up from the left side entrance. We lined up on the right side, and none of the kids near us were selected - much to my son's dismay. I would recommend that you enter from the left entrance and that may increase your chances of getting picked. Additionally, one kid was in a full Kylo Ren costume and playfully attacking all the other kids in line with his light saber. Since no one on our side was selected, his mother went to the other entrance, spoke with someone and presto! he was added to the show. If it is important to your child, I'd recommend that you talk to the CMs at the doors and hopefully your child will get selected. Good luck!

I will keep this in mind! My daughter will be wearing her full Rey costume and son Kylo Ren! They would be so sad if not chosen, simply because they want it so badly.
