I read today some people really don't like vegetables or fruit that much, I can eat fruit and vegetable every day , however I CANNOT eat hard boiled eggs, or poached eggs, the smell alone will make me vomit.

Not that I HAVE to eat them...but I wish I could b/c it would help with snacking but I DISPISE...Pork Rinds...and Beef Jerkey...it helps when you are on atkins to be able to add that to you menu. It gives you more choices!!

luvinit...I do not like the beef jerky...yuck :p I can do the pork rinds though, but I try to stay away as I would eat a whole bag....lol

I hate fish...don't do fish at all, will eat shellfish...but not fishy fish :teeth:

I hate a lot of veggies, cauliflower, asparagus, peas, cooked spinich. So for me, Atkins is good, I can eat all the stuff, well a lot of the stuff I love, red meat, white meat, shrimp, scallops, lobster, raw spinich, green salad, cheese.

And for the record, I hate hate hate hate pork rinds and I hope I am never so desperate as to have to eat them. I support everyone who eats them tho, and as I won't buy them, there will be plenty in the sotres for all of you!

Red Meat, Chicken, Turkey, Pork etc.. Just can't swallow it.

I can't eat liver :(

I prefer hard boiled eggs mixed with green olives and mayo but I love poached eggs :)

Green Food - there is just something about green ----- oooo yuck

I would rather have a casserole dish of califlower than one brussel sprout.

For some reason I have a hard time with milk and fruit. I really do not like drinking milk, but fruit I enjoy, but I very rarely reach for it. Before starting WISH I would have said veggies, but I have learned to really enjoy them.

Oh yeah, I forgot, I hate liver! Just can't get past the smell and the look.

that what it is for me - though I realize just how very good it is for building muscle (certain amino acids in it) so I found I can handle the small singe servings of Breakstone with a teaspoon of jam of some kind in it. Or eaten with fruit, but not everyday or I will start to gag!

BINGO!!!!!!!!! Here I was thinking, "I love all food, that's my problem!" Thanks, ohMom! I HATE cottage cheese. I won't go into the details, but I associate it with something very gross. Blech!!! Phew, I was beginning to think I was some kind of freak (since I couldn't think of a food I had a hard time eating!) ;)

Ok, this will reveal that I truly am a freak!
I hated cottage cheese as a kid, then one day I realized, it was a psychological thing....it wasn't orange like "cheese" should be! So I added red and yellow food coloring and bingo....orange cottage cheese. :)
I don't really eat it now as most ppl would really look at me like I was over the edge.

Another weird thing...I hated city chicken when I was growing up. It didn't taste like chicken at all and so therefore I couldn't stand it. Once I grew up and found out city CHICKEN was actually pork it instantaneously tasted better! <grin>
God bless,

OK you people are making me feel weird now.....I can eat all of the things you guys mentioned ( except the poached or hard boiled eggs , those really make me vomit ) even in any kind of salad like potato salad, if there's egg ( and trust me I can smell it ) I won't touch it.
But anything else including liver I can eat without a problem, yes I know it may be disgusting to some of you , but this is how I grew up in Spain, my mother forced me to try everything, and I thank her for doing that now.
I know, I am an alien! LOL.

Oh, I have no problem with liver! I really like chicken livers wrapped in bacon!

I also love steak and kidney pie! I only ever have it in England, although I have seen kidneys for sale at Publix...and I have a recipe! Maybe once I reach goal! ;)

I just thought of another thing though. Hot Dogs. My Dad made them for us ALL THE TIME when we were growing up so I guess I got sick of them. I can't stand them now! Yuck! ;)

I can't stand hard boiled, fried or poached eggs. Just looking at a whole egg yolk makes me gag. I also can't stand celery. I always pick it out of salad and I've never eaten a stalk of it.

lol! I always say that my favorite green veggies are dill pickles!

Actually, I'm just kidding. I like pretty much everything. The only thing I don't care for are marshino (sp?) cherries and dates. I think it's because they are both too sweet.

Otherwise, I'm pretty adventurous about food and I love to try new things and ethnic recipes.

I think none - thats why I have to lose weight! Seriously I don't like milk - never did - or brussel sprouts. However I like soy like in soy milk and soymayo and soy burgers and soybars(like granola snack bars but soy) and soybutter(instead of peanut butter) - so I am a freak!

I don't eat lettuce or mayo.

Not eating lettuce has been the hardest. I can't do the salad diet thing. I really like all other vegetables.

Definitely Liver!!

That stuff is nasty and I remember as a kid my Dad always made me try it "just in case" I developed a taste for it!! Yuck, I can't even stand to look at it now!!

NOTHING!! Oh, there are plenty of things I don't like. But, I just DON'T eat them!!:p
