What is the hardest onboard ressie to get?

I am trying to prioritize my "ressie scrammble" for the 7 day Western. We want to do everything (except CC Masage), so what ressie should I try to get first, second, etc.

Palos Dinner
Palos Brunch on Key West Day
Palos High Tea

I take it there would be separate lines for these or are they all done at exactly the same time? I would not want to waste my time in the wrong line and then find out if I had started in another I would get what we wanted.

Then off for Spa ressies
Surial Bath on Sea day
Masage Taster on Sea day
Aromatherapy any day

Again are there separate lines or can I do them all at once.

I sure wish they would change this procudure........

TIA

Let's see...

The ressies for Palo are all done in the same location, but in two lines. Dinner is one line, Tea and Brunch are both done in the other line. Pick whichever line is more important to you or whichever is shorter... :)

The ressies for all spa treatments can be done at one time. The person who books your appts can tell you want times are available for the different treatments and you can make all your ressies then.

Let me know if you have any other questions. :)

If you are travelling with other adults, split up and one should do Spa ressies and the other Palo's. My husband and I did this (luckily we were in the front of the line to board) and we had no problems getting our first picks. Good luck.

Thanks for the help. The impression I get is that Brunch would go faster than dinner since there are fewer days.

Splitting up may be the best way to go. We will have our 2-way radios with us in case of unforseen changes.

I have heard that Tea with Wendy is near impossible to secure a reservation for.

Oh, wait, that wasn't on your list....

Nevermind!

Tea with Wendy:

Ok assuming my daughters would like to do this - how does one attempt to get a reservation for it?

They will tell you in your navigator when they are handing out tht Tea with Wendy tickets. Then you get to stand in the LONG line wrapping around the atrium. I would say people were there lining up at least 15 minutes early.

I would try to not cram everything in. We had reservations for everything, and wound up cancelling everything but Palo dinner. Now we have things to do on our next cruise that we haven't done yet. You WILL rebook. That was our first cruise, and the BEST vacation ever!! I reccommend rebooking even if you are not sure of the date, because you get a pretty good deal.

I think Laurenk makes some great points! We have been on four cruises with DCL and are still finding new things that we haven't done before. In fact, on our first cruise on the Magic in 2000 (when she was still doing the 3 and 4 day cruises) we didn't even eat at Palo because we wanted to experience the main restaurants. We didn't book any spa treatments until our fourth cruise!

If you attempt to do everything you may end up stressing yourself out and not enjoying the vacation as much as if you take it at a leisurely pace.

And, as Laurenk put it so well, you will rebook! :)

Thanks for all the advice. This is our third cruise and first 7 day, we have only done Palos in the past (must do again!) because the kids were younger. Now we are ready for the Spa ;)

The Brunch sounds good so that is in our plans. I could do without the High Tea but just wanted to get my "ressie scramble" game plan down. Then relax, relax, relax!

Sorry Lampy! I didn't realize that you were an experienced Disney cruiser! Guess I was preaching to the choir!

We were fortunate enough to get all of our reservations on our last cruise--but we didn't see a few of the shows, and we were too tired for anything after dinner. I'm going to really try not to plan it all out so much and just enjoy what I can in the moment this time. Ha ha. I say that NOW...
