we are staying in the all star music resort, what is a good amount each day for house keeping?

The going rate seems to be $1.00 for every person. We have 4 people in our party and we always leave $5.00 per day.

Please leave your tip daily since you might have different mousekeepers each day.

 My DH and I stay at the music and leave $2.00 a day for
mousekeeping. That seems fair to me. Shirley

The three of us always leave our tip money in special MouseKeeping envelopes. They are not allowed to take just cash laying out. It needs to be marked. Our DD6 loved making the envelopes. You can make your own or print out templates especially for mousekeeping on the Mouseforless.com site.
Have fun!

Do you leave the money for mousekeeping everyday or at the end of your stay?

Just Curious!

Everyday!!! You could have someone different............ I wouldn't want someone to not get their tip.

Everyday. We actually fill each envelope before we leave with a five dollar bill and our DD6 would have the responsibility to put one out on the table each day before we left for the parks. Often where we left the envelope there would be towel animals when we returned.

thats cute.

We leave $1 a day per person in the room every day. Two years ago, I also added a couple of pieces of candy to our decorated envelopes because it looked like we had brought too many treats and I didn't want to have to take them home. That seemed to increase our chances of getting towel animals too. We intentionally took extra candy for them this year and once again, we were treated with towel animals several days.

I never had any problems with them NOT taking money left on the vanity next to the mirror. I never put it in an envelope.

I usually leave $3 per day.

I am glad someone posted about this, I was just going to ask. I love the mousekeeping envelops on mouseforless.com, they are too cute. I may use them or make my own.

Anyone else have ideas of how to get the towel animals. When my DD saw them in photos she went crazy. She want's to try to get a new one to photograph each day.

Thanks!

You can increase your chances of getting one with candy, and higher tips. ;)

For the towel animals, you have to get a good mousketeer, and leave a good tip. We usually leave one $ per person per day.

We stayed at the Polynesian for a week 5/31 - 6/5 - 3 people and left $5 a day and some snacks. Never got one towel animal! I think I was more bummed than my 6yo.
