2,500 miles. Born in the Los Angeles area, went to Hawaii with my High School band in my senior year. Hawaii is about 100 miles further from where I was born than it is to Disney World from where I was born.

There was an article in my local paper a few years ago about the death of a 96 year old woman, who had never beem out of Guadallupe County her entire life. Apparently, she'd never even been to San Antonio, in the next county over, and about 30 miles away. I found that so sad.
