What is the funniest "not quite right" name for an attraction you have heard?

We keep trying to reteach ourselves DHS instead of MGM but it's not working out so well. We used to call DTD buena vista village.

I read this whole thread and it is hilarious. The things the kids say is just so funny. :goodvibes

I guess I was lucky because I always called it The Studio's. I didn't have to change anything when they changed the name.

well, it could have something to do with mother in laws too...:rolleyes1

I did too. I asked my 17 year old son who is a Disney buff and he said, "Ummm.. it's not a Disney comment it's a want to do it to your mom comment." EWWWWWWWWWWWWW then i realized I am getting old as I never heard that one before.

When the kids were younger we called the parks --The Castle, the Ball, The Tree and MGM as there was no hat then. We went every other weekend for a year so that gave them some insight before getting inside the gates. We don't call Epcot the ball but we do use it as our directions while in search of one another. We say, By the ball, to the left of the Ball, Go to the ball Carolann.. etc.

MGM is now called "The park that was formerly known as MGM" just because we are dumb like that. :rotfl2:

I still say people mover. Now...I have this problem that I can't seem to get straight. I keep saying Spaceship Earth instead of Mission Space and seriously don't remember which is which. So i say, "Shut up, the one in the ball."

My youngest adds an "i" to EPCOT, calling it EPiCOT (kind of sounds like apricot)... She's 9 and it's the last of the 'missayings' of our kids... I kind of hope she keeps calling it EPiCOT...

Oh WOW... That's what my 13 yr old calls it too... Never thought anyone else would call it that..... This is one of his few missayings as well.. I do miss that somewhere in the last year Oatiemeal became oatmeal and the Otel has become hotel...
