What is the funniest "not quite right" name for an attraction you have heard?

My father, who was drunk at the time, refered to the fife and drum players in American Adventure as the Roman Joogle Boys. Supposedly he meant to call them the Drum and Bugle Boys, but I don't recall a bugle amongst them.

My DH asked if I wanted to go to "Interventions" instead of Innoventions. :rotfl:

I still call DHS "MGM"

Having been there 4 times as "MGM" and once as "DHS", it's an honest mistake. I either call it "MGM" or "the Studios".

The biggest Blunder I ever heard was once... beleive it or not... I heard someone call "Stich's Great Escape" a good ride....

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Don't worry, I corrected them.

I've heard a lot of people call MK WDW!

Yeah I'm having a hard time with the MGM to DHS too. I'm getting better but every once in a while I still say or type MGM. Just habit I guess.

those have been gone for 15 years or more.

Not that long! I have pics of DH and I riding them on our honeymoon in 8/98. They closed it down sometime between then and 2005 when we went back with kids.

The WDW Skyway was removed in 1999.
Disneyland's was removed in 1994, I think? Perhaps that's what PP was thinking of.

I have a friend who refers to Epcot as "the Abcot". :confused3

I was in Epcot with DGD one day and she was playing in the splash fountains when the monorail went whizzing by overhead. A little guy who was playing in the water as well got very excited and pointed to it and yelled "the roller coaster, the roller coaster!" It was pretty cute; I caught it on tape and smile every time I watch it.

I've called SE the big golf ball thing since I was 7. I didn't even know there was a ride in it until a few years ago! I don't think I can stop now hehe.

Until we go this year, I'll have only been in DHS when it was MGM Studios, so that's a little hard for me to 'get'.

MK being called Disney World bugs me too though!

Same I had no idea there was a ride in the big ball (SE) And my parents said i've been on it before :confused3
