What is the Flag Retreat Ceremony?

I just saw that they have added "Flag Retreat Ceremony" to the schedule during our trip. It's every day at 4:30pm. What is this?

It's the time that they retreat the US Flag at Disneyland.

I like to watch every now and then. They take the flag down with respect & ceremony.

When I've seen it, they play an excerpt from each of the armed forces, and what I thought was neat was to watch men and women who served step up during "their" song.

I read about the ceremony in the "Unofficial Guidebook" and plan on seeing it at least once.

Now I'll be looking for all the service members too!
