What is the difference between AKL and AKL Villa Kida

I see AKL and AKL Villa Kidani with the price about the same. Is there a difference or just the difference between staying DVC without daily mousekeeping ?

If you are renting a DVC unit through Disney (paying cash), I think you still get daily housekeeping.

the ones at AKL - are Jambo House

the ones at AKV - are Kidani.

the studios are about the same - although generally stay in Jambo house because of the easy acess to the restuarants and snack area

now for `1 or 2 bedrooms go with Kidani - they are much, much larger and nicer.

the master bath at Jambo house is basic a whirlpool tub and shower - combination - small for any master bath at DVC

the master bath at Kidani house is BIG - full size shower with a nice size whirlpool pool - think some have tv's (not sure) plus the extra room at Kidani

so it depends upon what you are getting.

both jambo house and kidani - in the 1 and 2 bedrooms have a full kitchen, laundry area - in some a closet with stackable washer/dryer - in other the full size

now the studio only has a kitchenette - you would be using the free laundry mat - JH on the 5th floor, Kidani on the first floor.

the living area is pretty nice at Kidani - you might get a view of the animals. Jambo house is alot smaller in the living area.

the studio living area is next to the queen bed and includes the sleeper sofa

There are also DVC rooms and suites in Jambo House.

They have a kitchenette in the studios and a full kitchen and washer/dryer in the 1, 2 and Grand Villas....
