The lowest rate I have personally paid is $144/night for a standard view room during value season last fall. The lowest I have seen is $139. Both were AP rates. HTH.
OK...I am guessing here...but I *think* it means that the OP is saving money by using various coupons (grocery, etc..) and putting the "savings" towards Disney. Sort of like if you go grocery shopping today, and save $15 using coupons on your bill, then you apply that $15 to your Disney fund.
I believe that ours was $179 for a Courtyard View. I can't see my signature since I'm in the middle of replying, but that price was for the trip that was in Jan. value season, I think.
Well I have it for about $144.00 a night for our next trip with the 4/3 deal!
I don't know about OP but I do The Grocery Game (matching coupons that you save with rock bottom prices for an item combined with stockpiling) and I save usually 50% off retail on my groceries spending roughly $400 a month on groceries! The Grocery Game provides me with a list and tells me what circulars coupons are in and if I should stock up on items because it will be the lowest price in a 12 week cycle or not!
Been doing it 3 years and love it.. now if I lived in an area where they double coupons I could save upwards of 70% off..
I got $139.00 this past August and got free upgrade to CL. During my next stay in December I've also been offered the same rate, but decide not to stay there again and keep with our traditional AKL at $139.00 a night.
