On our 2nd
DCL cruise, 1/2003 on the Magic, the Castaway Club party onboard had only nasty little hors d'oerves being passed around, and remembering that, we were about to skip he CC reception on the Wonder in 1/2005. I passed by, on my way back to the stateroom from Diversions (they were showing a half hour of classic ESPN commercials--I loved it!) and I looked in and saw this nice buffet, so I went and got DW and DS, and we sure enough ruined our appetite for dinner.
The
Royal Caribbean Crown & Anchor Club sends a quarterly magazine, maybe every two months? not sure of the frequency, but in any event it has a variety of coupons, so I did save $25 off the cost of my next
RCCL cruise. Hey, its the little gestures sometimes, and DCL isn't knocking $25 of for being a returning guest. I'm a big fan of DCL, but the Castaway Club's biggest benefit is the private check in line (probably save me 30-40 minutes in January, though I noticed they restructured how it was set up in the past 2 years), and it is a nice towel, but we are getting our 3rd such towel next month. Never thought I'd say this, but for once in my life, I would rather have a T-shirt!!
And the T-shirt would be walking around advertising for DCL--no one sees the towel in my linen closet.
