What is the better month to sail to Alaska (weather, less rain and warmer)

Warmer will be later June and July, I think August is dryer but we had perfect weather for our May sailing and are sailing in May again in 2022

May and June are drier but may not be as warm as July and August. In August, you are at the start of the rainy season in Southeast Alaska.

On our trips to Alaska, we have found that what makes us feel colder is when it is cloudy, drizzly, or rainy. Sunny days just seem to feel warmer even when the temps are cool. We had the best weather on our June trip.

We were lucky and had a beautiful, sunny blue sky during our day in Ketchikan. Very unusual, I know.
