What is the best way to get to Contemporary from the Yacht Club?

What is the best (quickest) way to get to Contemporary from the Yacht Club? I would rather not spend the $$ on a cab.

Bus to MK, walk to CR. The walk is under 10 mins. The sidewalk runs right beneath the monorail line. You can take the monorail, but you walk in the opposite direction from the CR to get to the station. By the time you've walked up to the monorail platform, you would have already walked about 2/3 of the way to the CR via the sidewalk.
