Hi there...we will be staying at HRH from 7/27 until 7/29 prior to leaving on a cruise.

In total there will be 12 of us going and we all want to get together Friday evening for dinner (it will also be my birthday) at Margaritaville.....there will be 7 adults and 6 children, ages 11 to 6. My boys (11 & 6) love Jimmy Buffet's music.

What is the best way to get a reservation? How much in advance can you make them? Can the HRH staff do it for me.....any tips? Thanks so much!!!!

Hi. You are supposed to be able to make reservations 30 days in advance by calling 407-224-9255. However, we have had hit or miss in trying to get ressies at Margaritaville (sometimes they don't allow them during peak season, like Spring Break, etc.).

If that doesn't work, try the concierge at HRH.

You could also try just showing up and going stand by, which would work if you don't mind eating really early. I wouldn't try this during normal dinner times though -- a Friday night during the summer will be pretty busy.

Happy Birthday, and have fun!

I'd call 30 days out and see what they say. we've gone in the summer to the dining kiosk first thing in the morning and been told no PS's were available for a week out. on days like that, we have an early lunch in the parks and go to M-ville early and usually get seated quickly.

there's always the Porch of Indecision which is first come, but a July evening isn't when we like to eat outdoors.

I am trying to do the same thing for my sister's birthday on 7/7. I have e-mailed the concierge at PBH (where we are staying) and asked for their assistance. I received a reply indicating that M'ville only accepts reservations 30 days out and due to it being a holiday week, they may not even be taking reservations for 7/7! I am hoping for the best. I don't know that our party of 12 will have the patience to wait 2 hours for dinner. I'd advocate a late lunch/early dinner, but we have people driving up from down state who say they will not be able to arrive until around 8.
