I just stuffed all the docs including passports, bc's, travel insurance, and flight info into a manila envelope. It is quite bulky. Is this the way to go or does anyone have a better solution???:( :( :(

Thanks

Sharon

Staples sells a travel document case that zips shut. It cost about $16.00. On our last trip, I found a CD carrying case that was the perfect size and shape. I found it at the Dollar Tree. I used a seam ripper to take out the CD holder parts and opened the pockets to slide the docs in. It had velcro closure and worked well. I just wanted one that zipped shut. I'm a little paranoid about misplacing a doc. Two very different solutions. I'm sure you will find the perfect one to meet your needs.

We have a backpack that has a few different zippered compartments in it. I used that as my purse/carryon and kept all the important doc and credit cards in one of the inside zipper pockets. It was real handy, I knew they were not going to fall out or get pick pocketed. The only way I was going to lose them is if I took the back pack off and forgot it...I never took it off :D

When we go on the Disney Cruise, I don't bring the entire document booklet that they send to you. I bring one entire booklet and then just take the necessary forms out of the remaining books. There is really no need to bring all of it and they do get heavy if you have to bring a family's worth of them.
That helps to cut down on some of the paper work that we always have to drag along with us.:D

Wdwmom2!!
Actually I think you need a "docporter". I am available for any cruise to carry heavy documents on the ship and look after them during a cruise. I ask for no compensation, merely my own cabin to safeguard and look after your documents.

No?
Was worth a try anyway ;)
