What is the best way to book with Southwest?

Do you book one way or round trip? I think I read that it was better to book each flight as a one way ticket because in the event a DING fare pops up, it is easier to change intstead of the entire reservation, is that correct?

if you are booking for 4 or more tikets, i would also only put 2 per reservation. ding or other cheaper rates may not be available for a larger quantity, and easier to rebook just 2 at a time.

I didn't think to book only two at a time and each way. I will need to make a book on how to book and save.
