Would like to know best roads to get there and about how long it takes? Will I have any problems with fires? Will be traveling around July 6th.
thank you

I believe the Hwy is I-4. Very Easy! Just a straight shot about 1 hour away.

Yes, it's I-4, but better think in terms of 90 minutes. An hour seems to be very optimistic in my experience on this trip.

Have fun

It shouldn't really be much more than an hour. You head straight down I4 until you hit I75, go north for 3 miles, west on Fowler for 3 miles, turn left on to McKinley Avenue and you are there. It is exactly 55 miles along I4 from its junction with Highway 192 in Kissimmee to the I75 turn-off.

It's about 70 miles from WDW to BG, so 70-90 minutes is a good estimate.

from WDW: take I-4 west-bound to Tampa. When you start getting near Tampa you will come across I-75. turn off I-4 and head north on I-75 (headed towards Ocala). Take the exit for Fowler Ave. Continue heading west on Fowler Ave. and eventually you will come up to some signs for Busch Gardens. If you miss the signs, just take a left on Bruce B. Downs Blvd. and continue south on BBD until Busch Blvd. at the light, take a left onto Busch Blvd. and just follow the arrows for parking.
The whole trip should take no more than an hour, hour and a half at the most...depending on traffic and what time you start driving, also.

I miss my Christi-bear. :(

We also plan on doing the "busch thing" when we are in Florida...does anyone know of any deals on tickets for park admission?

P.S. thanks for the great directions!

Watch out for rush hour. I-4 gets terrible traffic. We always schedule our trips to avoid heavy traffic times.
