What is the best time to be at Beaches and Cream without waiting for a table?

We have only eaten there 3 times and they were in Nov and Dec so probably not very busy times, but we never had a wait. We did sit at the counter one time - but we were only having ice cream that night so we didn't care. The last time we were there they looked like they were starting to get a line waiting, but there was a large family (about 10 or more people) who had come in right after us that took up quite a bit of the restaurant.

We are interested in going to Beaches and Cream for the Kitchen Sink. First, which resort is it located at? Second, we are staying off property so can we just drive to the resort and park? We are only interested in going for ice cream, so I was thinking about going in the late afternoon or evening before heading back to the condo for the afternoon/night. We are a family of 9, can we get in on an "offtime" for ice cream only?

All I can say is that we usually go to WDW in June, August and December months and the only time that we haven't had a long wait is when we arrive just prior to opening. It is a VERY small restaurant. Many people are not aware just how tiny the place is. I admit that I was shocked the first time we went. They need to break down the wall and take over the arcade space! :woohoo:

I TOTALLY AGREE ABOUT MAKING IT LARGER!!!!!!!! :woohoo:
