What is the best time of year to visit IOA?

When is the best time of year to visit IOA? I have a husband who doesn't deal with crowds to
well. When is the least crowed time of year? We are thinking about going down the 2nd wk of Dec. If that time of the year is slow.

Last week of February is good, temps start to warm up.
First week of September after Labor Day is also good because the kids have just returned to school. Park is a ghost town during this time.

I always shoot for Last week of April or first week of May. The kiddies are done with Spring Break and their Summer break is too close to take a vacation. Not only that, but the weather is just right.
