What is the best time of year for Vero Beach

You should see some action. The nests are clearly marked. Be ready to watch them in the early morning right after the sun rises. No-see-ums are out during the summer months. They are not too bad in June, from my experience, but they are worst than mosquitoes. Definitely have some bug spray handy in case they are out.

Not worried so much as vigilant. Start checking the National Hurricane Center website https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/occasionally in early September, more frequently as your trip gets closer. Also keep an eye on DISboards - there will be lots of discussion if a storm starts brewing and looks like it might impact Florida.
Thanks for the link! I remember being on the Disney Dream during what became the "Hurricane Dorian Repositioning Cruise!" It actually became quite the adventure that I enjoyed. The cruise got extended by two days and we had no idea which port they were taking us to daily. The dream is my favorite ship so I thought I hit the jackpot with the two extra days 😀😀. It was funny calling work and telling them I wouldn't make it because I was stranded on a Disney cruise 😅

I have been to VB 3 times, the resort is actually located in Sebastian, north of Vero Beach.

The last time was in early June 2022, weather was beautiful until the end of our trip when a Tropical Storm made its way up the coast.
Side Note: My family stayed at VB before heading south to a wedding just North of Palm Beach, so no out door ceremony or cocktail hour! :(

The two other times were in August once before a DCL cruise the other after staying at WDW. Weather was warm, but not bad at all, actually breezy. Water in August is lovely. But in June it was comfortable.

Good Luck making your VB plans....its such a lovely resort.:earsgirl:
