What is the best thing to do on your last night?

Our last night we went to dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table and then rented a pontoon boat and watched Wishes from Bay Lake. It wasn't cheap (but most things at Disney aren't) but the cruise was the highlight of all of our trips. So much so that the next time we go we'll be doing it again.

When we stayed at Wilderness Lodge I loved leaving in the boat from MK to Wilderness Lodge and watching the fireworks from the boat if we left early. We always spend the last night at MK but I think something that incorporates the fireworks would be great. :goodvibes

We are staying at Wilderness Lodge..... Spending the day at Animal Kingdom... What should we do in the evening to end our vacation great?!

Any ideas?

Early dinner 5:30ish at Narcoossees and the rest of the evening at the MK until closing time.

We always spend the last day at MK, watching Wishes and soaking it all up. Usually purchasing a few last minute souvies before leaving. We always start a trip at MK and end there.

My family is the same - start and end with MK and one final stop at the Confectionary:stir:

This year our last night we cannot do MK because there is a MVMCP that night. So we are doing MGM to see the Osborne lights. But MGM closes at 8. I am trying to think of something to do after that. Maybe try to watch the MVMCP wishes from somewhere? We will be at VWL. So something probably in the MK area.

We usually spend our last night at Epcot as it's our favorite park.

We'll usually do one last ride on Spaceship Earth (my fav ride) then we'll walk around the world and have some of our favorite treats - split a quick service dinner at a couple of the pavilions, followed by one last stop at Karamel Kulche for chocolate covered caramels! We top off the night by watching Illuminations.

Things to do on the last night,

Watch "Wishes" from the flagpole on Main Street, from there you can see up main street and watch Wishes, we usually start walking out as the end of wishes is still going, as as your leaving, fire works are still going off behind you and the music is melodic with the words "and all our wishes, will come true" if you can get it so your on the boat as the fireworks are still going off that seems to make it all the more magical.
for me and my wife that made a beautiful memory, and it just seems the most picturesque ending to a great vacation at disney, especially if you believe in the magic.

This needs a "LIKE" button! Sounds magical... we are still undecided. We dont have park hoppers and we are doing AK during the day.. thank you for all the ideas! Keep them coming! :-)

If I did something else, I would probably spend my last night at Magic Kingdom. However, we had dinner at Sanaa and drinks at Victoria Falls Lounge and that was pretty awesome.

We always start and end our vacations with MK.

First day is MK after our morning flight lands, dinner at Chef Mickey's, Wishes and the parade.

On our last day we hit RD at MK (we may try an 8 am CP ADR next trip), midday break, dinner ADR (thinking BOG next trip) and then Wishes and the parade.

I stop at the Confectionary and get some goodies to take home.

My last night usually involves panicked thoughts on how the hello we are getting all this crap home. I go crazy with the shopping. Nwe lives overseas. Last year was the extra stress of buying the cinderella castle and taking it apart and packing it carefully in various pieces. Our room is a crazy mess. I unpackage everything to make room. Can I say it's worse than christmas all the packaging.

At some point I throw a fit as the toys packaging twisties get the better of me.

This year Imwill try and pack as I go, though pointless as once you have too much you have to re-pack.

So this year we are doing an early night. Resort time to chill, swimm while I pack. Once this is done we have a halfma day on checkout at MK before our fligjt.
