What is the best ride to go on with a 47 year old mother and father?

my parents are 53 and they go down by themselves and ride everything. we always tell them to go hang out in dino-land at AK b/c they might run into some of their friends from when they were younger, they do not find this amusing....

My Dad was 51 when we took him and he went on everything!
Even stuff I wouldnt go on.
The more thrills the better... :flower:

My mom is 48...and she would probably make ME go on TOT with her!! (after we rocked out together on Rock n Roller Coaster!) :flower:

I'm getting close to the ripe old age of 50 and I ride absolutely EVERYTHING at WDW. Except for the silly race cars--We can drive real cars any time we want. There's no thrill for us there!

My DH is 54 and he does too! Yes--even Rock 'n Roller Coaster, Mission Space, and Tower of Terror (my DH's personal favorite)!

Don't worry. Your parents will let you know what they're feeling up to riding. You may be surprised!

Next year my family and I are going to Disney World and my parents will be 47. What kinds of rides should I take them on? :confused3

First of all............ :rotfl:

But I TOTALLY understand where you are coming from. When I was in my early 20's I used to HATE the thought of sometime turning 40. I thought my life and I would be.......I don't know, less "lively" or something.

Well, I just turned 49, and I'll tell you a secret. Most 47 yr olds still feel 20. Not wish they still feel 20, they literally feel 20 in their minds. True, their bodies have a few aches and pains, and it's harder to pull all nighters... but technically, the only big difference is that they are probably alot happier. :teeth:

When I go to WDW I feel like a teenager.

So, you don't need to be concerned. Unless one of your parents has a medical problem, your question is exactly like someone asking us what rides they should take you on; no difference.

So have a WONDERFUL time!!!! :wave2:

Everyone, this question was really only meant to be a joke....I couldn't think of a question to write so my dad told me to write this as a joke...I didn't expect to get this many responses!!! We have been to Disney 4 times and the most recent was last summer. My parents really do like to go on anything. We went on ToT four times in a row. We try everything...except for MS! :cheer2:

I just turned 50 on the fourth, now I feel old.
:earboy2:

I'm 43 and love all the coasters/mountains. Tower of Terror is my least favorite, but I'll ride it for the right price!!

I'm the proud 51 year old dad of an almost 7 year old and I haven't found anything that I can't handle...yet.

tink2257, this is really for your father: OMG, this is truly the first time I had to step back and think that maybe, just maybe, I was old. I knew that my kids think I'm out of touch, but I was old enough to make the first woodstock (maybe in a stroller) and young enough to make the 2nd so...

By the way, the answer to the question is teacups -- nothing spinny, too much of that in the 70's.

Ok DH (57) and I (54) go on everything. DS24 can only handle M:S once. Bwaaa Haaa Haaa. I can ride it twice in a row! and DH could probably ride it all day long!
