What Is The Best "Pluggable" Air Freshener?

No, I know! It's just that I always figured my DF was telling me that because he didn't want to smell "apple cinnamon" all day long or something like that :rotfl: It's kind of scary to hear others say it!!! I guess it really makes sense though. :confused3

Febreeze spray is my friend. Trust me, I'd MUCH rather have my house smell like apple cinnamon than wet dogs! I'm just too paranoid.

Am I the only one that uses Airwick scented oils?

I don't like the Glade, they don't last long. Haven't tried the YC or BBW.

I do unplug them when they are empty or close to it.

I used to have one that was battery powered. I forget the name brand....started with an "O" I think. I used those for a while, now I use nothing unless I have a candle burning.

I prefer the Glade ones.

Just a note on the Bath and Body Works ones. I have one under my kitchen cabinates. Now granted they are old cabinates, painted with white paint before we bought the house about 11 years ago. The paint is peeling and curling directly above the freshener. And yes, it is definitely from the freshener, nothing else there to cause it and not peeling anywhere else. All I can think is, if it is doing this to the paint, what is it doing to my lungs:confused3 ?????? Now, other brands could very possibly do this also, I just have only used the BBW in this area.

Wallflowers fan here. I stock up when they go on sale.

I haven't tried these yet, but the morning drive dj's are advertising something from Scent Air Home (http://www.scentairhome.com/)
Anybody else tried this?

I typically use Glade or BBW (love the annual sale... $5! WooHoo.)

Oust fans? Maybe? I really liked those - but had some trouble finding a refill.

Has anyone tried Scent Stories?

Now I have the Febreeze Noticables - I love the linen one (I think it is linen) anyway it smells like downy. :goodvibes

Fairly recently they have come out saying how bad all air fresheners are for you. Makes sense, all they are are scented chemicals.

Well this thread is from 2007, so there's been a bit more research done regarding the plug ins.
