What is the best personal mister to use at WDW?

We used the Traget Mister ones earlier in June and they were great. However, might consider a type of fan in the future. The mist was good, but moving some air could have been very helpful as well.

When I read the title of this thread I had to do a re-take. I thought the OP was asking what is the best personal male escort (mister - Mr.) out there lol. I got a good chuckle when I realized what the OP was actually talking about.

As far as the actual question. I don't like to spray water on myself in Florida. It just makes me sticky. I prefer carrying around a water bottle and refilling it with ice and new water throughout the day, so I stay well-hydrated.

we just came back, and had great success with the ones we bought at Walmart. Much less than $17 at the park, and held up fine with our 2, 6, and 9 year olds. They were used several days and I think we only changed the batteries once.

we get the ones at walmart with a strap and they worked great if we added ice to them before leaving for the parks each day

We got the same ones. $7 a piece & never had any problems with them. Our DD was still in a stroller last year, so we could loop the straps around the stroller handles when not in use, but if they're full of water the only down side is that they get heavy. Like you need a heavy bottle of water hanging off you when it's 100 degrees out! But for the price, any relief we got from using them was better than not having anything at all.

I would never pay $17 for a mister fan. Sorry. That's ridiculous. I got all 3 of my fans for $21 & I realize they may not last forever, but the $17 ones aren't going to either. The coolest place to be was Rainforest Cafe. Seriously, you can feel the cold air coming out of there from 12 feet away...I soooooo love it!!!

We searched and searched for a high quality mister with good reviews on Amazon and found the Coregear Personal Mister. It is a bit bigger than the Misty Mate ones we have had in the past but with its carrying strap and belt clip thing it works. No batteries required. Its about $15 and I found it on Amazon and the Coregear website. Anyway we had a blast last summer and stayed cool with this thing. Peace.
