Different for every person, and for me it's different every trip. I enjoy being close to parks, and I really enjoy the Epcot resorts for this, but my favorite is always changing there (right now I'm feeling BWI/BWV), but if I'm on an MK heavy trip like when they are doing DAH and parties then I love staying at CR/BLT. When I go with my whole family now we really enjoy Riviera in a 1 bedroom. It's a lot easier for me to pick which one I like the least tbh.

"Best" depends on your budget and what you think of the design of each property in addition to its proximity to the parks you intend to visit. Lots of older threads on this topic.

Personally, we love Pop. We stayed at Shades of Green once and now I can't talk my husband into any place but Pop and the skyliner sealed it. I am never going to be able to stay at the one other place I want to try--Port Orleans French Quarter.

The great thing about Disney World is that there is basically something for everyone but that's also the bad news in the sense that there are so many options to consider. I can see where it would be overwhelming for a new visitor. Budget, theming, recreation options (e.g. pool), food options at the resort, size of group traveling, and transportation options (e.g. ability to walk to a park, monorail, skyliner) are probably the most common factors that people cite in making their decisions. Some of these might be important to you and some might not. If you can share more about what you're looking for you'll probably get some more helpful insight. Lots of people here love planning a Disney vacation.

At 11 months out, it’s Copper Creek for us. At 7 months out, it’s whatever has 2 bedroom availability.

We've stayed everywhere but FW and they're all good. For us, we love BW and AKL. I'm sure you will have someone that will answer with every hotel on property. Its very subjective. In Disney's eyes, GF is supposed to be the flagship resort but it doesn't generally get a ton of love.

We are Wilderness Lodge fans... Love being 10 minutes from MK yet tucked inside a quiet, serene environment that doesn’t say “theme park”. Beautiful views, excellent bars and restaurants, and the best CMs we have encountered at any Disney resort. Others like being on the monorail, for some it is about budget. Many viewpoints bu for us, proximity and resort amenities at WL wins the day.

We’ve been to 5 and POR Riverside is our favorite so far. We are trying CBR for the first time this year. We like to try different resorts and visit others for ADRs to walk around and explore. I haven’t stayed at one we didn’t love yet. If you have small children Art of Animation is tough to beat IMO. Stayed there our first 2 trips and loved it.

Also, I love the CL offerings @ Jambo. We like POFQ also but have not stayed there in many years.
