Hi, just wondering if there is a favorite flip flop/sandal out there that people like to do the parks in? I'm looking for something that is comfy and can last the day. Sometimes socks and sneakers can be too hot all day in . Just looking for a good alternative. thanks !!

Teva flip-flops! I've worn them on every trip 2 WDW! I don't like tennis shoes in the summer time. Make sure what ever you wear is broken in very well! DO NOT wear new shoes... You will regret it!

Teva Olowahu are the best! They have great arch support and the multiple straps keep your feet secrurely positioned on the bottom of the flip flop! I have worn these on my past 2 trips to WDW and have never had any problems.

Not sure if anyone said it, but I have worn my Keen hiking sandals in DW and LOVED them. Comfy, doesn't matter if they get wet, supportive. All around good.

I like Tevas. And have an old pair I wear all the time to Disney. I also like Dansko sandals for a nicer/evening pair but still very comfy to walk miles in (The Dani is the one I have right now).

I typically don't like flip flops (not a lot of support, something in between my toes, the smack/smack/smack sound) and find that they rub the inside of my toes anyway. BUT I was at WDW last month for work and happened to rub some weird parts of my feet at my conference. So I picked up a pair of Disney flip flops and I LOVE THEM!!! I even wore them to MK for a few hours and they did well (although any longer would have bothered me). They were not the rubber flip flops. They have a black bottom with a little bit of a cushion (not totally flat) but the best part was the top straps. They are large pieces of pink cloth with white Mickey heads! So they were really comfortable due to the cloth (not rubber) straps and since the cloth was wider than a typical flip flop strap.

I NEVER have intentions of buying flip flops and only own one pair to use walking to/from hotel rooms and pools. So I was really surprised at these!!! I would not recommend using them day in and out at Disney, but they are great for wearing for a couple hours a day. (But you should alternate what shoes you wear anyway!)

Ok, I've scoured the internet and the DIS and I can't find a picture of them anywhere to post - but they were there last month at CBR and I'm sure they are at every gift shop :)

Teva Mush and Teva Mandalyn Wedge flip flops are very comfortable for all of the walking you will do. I wore mine (rotating 3 pairs) for 4 days in the parks with no issues! Sierra Trading Post online store usually has the best deals on a variety of flip flop brands mentioned in responses.

I agree with the Teva Mush. I bought 5 pairs of them from Sierra Trading Post a couple months ago so I would have some back up pairs. I wear them all the time (even while teaching on my feet all day), and they are so comfortable. They were also less than $13. I haven't worn them to WDW yet, but will be making our trip this weekend.

I just bought a pair of orthaheels and they are very comfortable. I can't wear my custom orthotics with anything but my sneakers, so these feel great. They take a little getting used to but I'm glad I tried them. They're cute, too. They don't look anything like ugly orthopedic shoes.

Honestly, Fit Flops were the best park-touring sandal I've worn. They're comfy, squshy-shock absorbing on the bottom. I wore them all day and my feet felt fine! I know they probably don't really do the toning thing they say they do, but my physical therapist said that those kinds of shoes are pretty good shock absorbers, so I'll wear them.

LOVE my crocs! All 3 are different styles and all are super comfy for all day walking.

LOVE Skele-toes in the parks!

I, also, became a Teva Mush fan through the boards.

However, for Christmas, I received a pair of Under Armour Marbella II. They are quite delightful. After several months of wearing them, I found my Mush's to be uncomfortable. So I go between my Skeletoes and my Marbellas.

Have fun!
