What is the Best Counter Service in Each Park?

You are going to get a lot of different answers on this one, but here are my picks:

MK: Columbia Harbour House
Epcot: Cantina de San Angel, or Boulangerie Patisserie
Studios: I don't love anything here, but in a pinch, Backlot Express will do
AK: Flame Tree BBQ

DTD: Cooks of Dublin

What is the Best Counter Service in Each Park?

Help!!!!:confused3

My favorites

Tangierine Cafe at Epcot (best in all of parks)
Flametree BBQ at AK
Columbia Harbor House at MK

I haven't had anything that would be a favorite at DHS.

Forget the Studios - all the food is bad there. ;)

We do like Columbia Harbor House at MK but had really good food at Cosmic Ray's this past trip. Be sure to try the homemade potato chips- yum! We split a half-rotisserie chicken twice. The chicken was really moist, and it was nice to see green beans with the entree. The mashed potatoes were pretty salty, though. (That was OK after I discovered those potato chips-- did I mention they were really good?) We found it was plenty for a light lunch, especially if we had a buffet breakfast or dinner planned.

At Epcot there's loads of great counter service - too many to list. It really depends on what kind of food you like. Sunshine Seasons at the Land Pavilion is reliably good, and they will mix & match entrees & sides if you ask them nicely.

I don't have any personal recommendations for Animal Kingdom, but Flame Tree gets consistently good reviews.

We love love love the Picnic in the park at AK
Love Sunshine Seasons and Tangarine Cafe in Epcot
Cosmic Rays (DH) and Columbia Harbor House (Me) at MK
If I had to choose it would be Pizza Planet at DHS for the DD's

And though you only asked for the parks....our all time fave CS is Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD

AK - Flame Tree BBQ

DTD - WPE

MK - CHH

Epcot - Germany

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot
Columbia Harbour House at MK
Flame Tree Barbecue at AK
Nada at DHS

Also like Pecos Bill at MK, Tangierine Cafe at Epcot.

Almost forgot, if you're going to DTD, Wolfgang Puck Express (the Marketplace location) is absolutely wonderful!

Like someone said earlier, you are going to get a lot of different answers..

For my family these are our picks:

MK - Cosmic Ray's and Pecos Bill's (Never had a bad meal at either place)
Epcot - Liberty Inn and Sunshine Seasons
AK - Up until a few years ago it would have been Tusker House, but now that it is a buffet, I'm not sure what our pick for AK is.
HS - Well.. We don't have one to be honest.

This is so subjective as everyone's tastes differ, but here are mine...

Magic Kingdom: Columbia Harbour House
EPCOT: Tangerine Cafe (Morocco) or Sunshine Seasons
Studios: Commissary or Rosie's
Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue

Sunshine Seasons/Tangeriene Cafe at Epcot - and it's a real tie, get one of each & split them.
Columbia Harbour House at MK
Flame Tree Barbecue/Yak & Keti CS at AK
DHS-Sorry, I wait and eat elsewhere! Whatever you do, stay away from ABC Commisarry

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue & Pizzafari.

MK Cosmic Rays great fixins bar (they have a combo 1/2 chicken and ribs with veg and mashed potatoes that counts as 1 CS and can easily be shared) I also love Columbia Harbor House

EPCOT Sunshine Seasons for great variety, something for everyone

AK There is a hamberger place (pretty good fixins bar )near Dinosaur that isn't bad but we aren't really crazy about AK to eat at.

MGM Again no real favorites, we usually leave and eat at a food court at a hotel or go to another park.

For us, the MK and EPCOT offer the best CS. Also, the resorts, especially the Values due to larger size and offerings have pretty good CS (they take the T in W card for the 20% off as well!)

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot
Columbia Harbour House at MK
Flame Tree Barbecue at AK
Good Luck at DHS

Wow, I was suprised at how close my pics were with the others... if you eat early at Columbia, you can find some really nice quite places to get away. At Epcot, I left out the countries because it depends if you like that countries quisine... We like Mexico, Morroco and Germany in the countries. But typically eat lunch in the front and dinner in the back.... =)

At DHS, get a turkey leg....... =)

HS: Starring Roles is great. It is just sandwiches and cupcakes but they are good quality. Lots of black forest ham. I think people miss it because it is hidden away and runs out of food early. Avoid the Commissary – It has really gone down hill in the last year or two.

AK: Flame Tree BBQ - The best option in AK.

MK: Cosmic Ray's for lunch or dinner (Ribs and Chicken combo is great) or Main Street for Breakfast

Epcot: Sunshine seasons has the best variety of all the CS locations (Beet and goat cheese Salad, Seared Tuna salad, Salmon, Nice Sandwiches. Avoid the Asian station in my opinion. Very low quality when I was there)

Epcot World Showcase: Norway Bakery - Nice sandwiches with soup and pastry. Espresso as a beverage. Avoid Mexico – They changed the menu about a month ago and it was awful.

Here are my faves:

MK- Pecos Bill's (love the burger fixins bar- sauteed onions and mushrooms, how could you go wrong?) :worship:

AK- Flame Tree BBQ

DHS- Toy Story Pizza Planet- decent pizza, DS11 loves the arcade!

EP- Yakitori House for meal, Norway bakery for desert. I know a lot of people really enjoy Sunshine Seasons, but the food I've had there has only been so-so. A lot of different options though!

MK-Columbia Harbor House or Cosmic Rays
DHS-I'm not sure. We usually just get snacks here. Maybe Toy Story Pizza Planet
AK-Flame Tree BBQ
Epcot-Sunshine Seasons or Cantina de San Angel

The MK: Cosmic Ray's or Pinnochio's.
Near the MK: Capt.Cook's at the Poly

AK: Pizzafari or Yak & Yeti
Near AK: The Mara at AKL

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons

DHS: Backlot Express or Pizza Planet

MK: Cosmic Rays- mostly for the variety. The food quality isn't fantastic but decent. ( but looking forward to trying Columbia Harbor House in Dec).
Epcot:Tangerine Cafe (Morocco)-the food here is fantastic and the plates are big enough to share. Sunshine Seasons - My favorite CS in the parks (LOVE the roasted beet salad:lovestruc). And when you are on the dining plan you can pick your dessert from the bakery which has AMAZING things.
AK: Flametree for the BBQ and Pizzafari (not for the pizza;)) but I LOVE the Hot Italian Sandwich and the warm apple dumpling for dessert was fabulous.
DHS: We always have lunch at either Sci-Fi or 50's. None of the CS places appeal to us at all. This year we are eating dinner at Mama Melrose but only because of the Fantasmic dinner package.
