I would like to see the ocean on our trip. I was thinking on our way back we head to one of the coasts and up. Thanks for any tips or ideas!

We stopped at St Augustine. You could also stop at Amelia Island if you wanted to drive a few miles off I-95.

We came from PA (don't see where "home" is for you). We stopped outside Savannah, GA at Tybee Island. It was WONDERFUL :cloud9: I could have moved in! :> We were there in December, so I can't say how another time would be, but no one was there, we expected to be there about a half hour for the boys to see the ocean. We were there about 3 hours, it was fantastic. We just played in the waves and collected shells on the beach. There's a light house you can go up in, but of course we were there Tues and it's closed Tuesdays  our luck.

I like Jekyll Island, GA. The beaches aren't crowded at all, it's just a beautiful, peaceful area with plenty of parking. There is a fee to get on the island, when I lived near there I think it was $5.

Were thinking about just driving over to Daytona, New Smyrna ect... I wondering though waht is the best wasy to go back to 75? I see 40 across to Ocala or further up you can angle up on 100? Anyone know about these roads? Thanks

If you'll be going through NC, the Outer Banks are INCREDIBLE, and the area is something that should no be missed in one's life. Pea Island is incredible!
