What is the Best Age for Doodlebops Concert?

What is the best age for kids to attend a Doodlebops concert? My sister can get tickets for an upcoming concert but I think her DS is too young. He is only 18 months. Yes, he does see them on TV and starts bouncing to the music (it is so cute) but I told her she should wait at least another year. I took my DS to see Blues Clues Live when he was 3 and I think that was a good age.

Just looking for some opinions.

My best friend and I took our kids 4 and 18 mths to the show about two weeks ago. Her baby had the BEST time!!! She stood up on her mommies legs and clapped and jumped and danced for the first part of show. After the break she was a calmer but still clapped and watched. It was past her bedtime, show was at 7:30 pm. I think had the show being mid day she could have lasted a little longer. Still it was a great time for all, even my 4 yr old had a ball. Normally I agree with you on the whole lets wait thing, My sons first show was 2.5 yrs. But the Doodlebops seem to appeal to a younger group. I would suggest tickets as close to the front as possible!!!

We took my son 2.5 to see the Doodlebops at the Theater at Madison Square Garden a couple months ago at 2.5 years. This, for us, was the right time. The cost of the tickets ($60 for all that have celebrated their 1st b-day), would make me think twice..but that is just me. While there were younger toddlers there (1-2yrs), the majority were 3-7 year olds.

We took DS at 21 mos in Nov. He loved it. The Doodlebops are his favorite. He even got upset when there was intermission. I explained they needed a snack and he said "ok".
