Is this only for concierge level? I keep reading the people got food there in the morning instead of going out to the Boardwalk area.

Thanks.

The Belle Vue Room is open to anyone. They have breakfast items available for purchase. It is located on the main floor of the hotel down the hall from the lobby.

It also turns into a lounge at night with a full bar. There is plenty of seating and they have board games for you to enjoy. It's a nice place to unwind!

So you dont have to haul it out to the Boardwalk outside to grab some quick breakfast items to eat??? This is good to know. DH wasnt to happy hearing this. Do you mind telling me what type of stuff they have there?

Thanks for your replies

That is correct. You don't have to go outside to the boardwalk area to have breakfast (as long as your room is in the main building). While I have not eaten breakfast there, my understanding is that it is a continental breakfast type menu. Someone else may be able to provide a better answer with more detail as to exactly what foods are available. And vettechick is right, in the afternoon it turns into a lounge with full bar.

Muffins and coffee, basically. Not much choice we've found. We always just head out to the bakery.

Muffins, bagels, danish, cinnamon rolls, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, milk and juices. They also have a toaster to toast bagels. The Boardwalk Bakery no longer toasts bagels -just sold as is.

CM Mary makes your breakfast in the Bellevue lounge quite enjoyable! You can eat in the lounge itself, take breakfast out to your room or the boardwalk, or eat out on the outside deck. We used to be fans of the Boardwalk Bakery, but now prefer breakfast in the Bellevue Lounge.

Thanks this sounds like the place for us:thumbsup2

During our last stay we were at the Boardwalk.

We stopped a few mornings at the Belle Vue Room and took the breakfast back to our room. You can also sit there and eat. Very nice room with comfortable seats.

Great choice if you are looking for "continental breakfast" items.

There were no hot choices when we were there. But it was still easier than going outside.

I know I'm bringing this thread back up from the dead but I just want to make sure this information is still accurate. I am staying at the BWV in 2 weeks and my mom was telling me about this place. I don't know why I've never heard of it before, I've stayed at the Boardwalk 5 times and have never set foot in there. Maybe this is the trip to try it out. If you can tell me any changes that they've made, if any, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

We prefer Alan's spicy Bloody Marys on the porch deck, never been there before 5 pm.

No changes, we were just there in May and had breakfast on the outside porch deck every morning - still the same breakfast pastries, bagels, fruit, cold cereals. They have comfy chairs if you choose to eat inside. It is usually a very peaceful place to start the day!

Does anyone know the Bellevue Lounge's breakfast hours?

1. Do they serve any food other than breakfast?

2. Do they accept the DDP?

Thanks :thumbsup2
