Hey guys,

I'm new here, so im asking. For those of you who go and check out a few parks here and there, what in your experience was the average you spent on all of your tickets. Like per person? A trip to orlando means you can get hotel, car, food and dining, but the tickets are the most expensive part of this trip So how much does an average family member or adult pay for tickets?

In my case, I want to see:
- Magic Kingdom
- Epcot
- Universal Island of Adventure
- Maybe Hollywood Studios..

I wanna see PLeasure Island and Downtown Disney but I know that's free...so meh.

How much roughly am I looking at if I get the discounted version of all of my tickets?

It depends on how many days you plan on spending in each park.

1 Day at each, figure it's the most economical, plus I just want to relax for the most part.

Go to http://www.undercovertourist.com/ . It's a great place to get tickets and it's easy to see what they will cost there.

Thanks for the tip! I've looked it up, and they only sell 3 days+. I'm going with my SO, so really I think $100 a day per person is what i'm looking at sadly :(.

If you decide to go to MK, Epcot and Hollywood Studios you are probably looking at three days. If you want to see Universal prices just click on Buy Disney Tickets and scroll down. You'll see Universal 1 day base tickets for $86.50.

So it does look like you're right when you say about $100 a day per person. These themeparks are expensive! It's way cheaper on a daily basis if you go for much longer unfortunately.

Just spending 3 days at WDW isn't really the most economical. At 3 days you're just hitting the mark where extra days are absolutely minimal to add (just talking tickets here, totally ignoring hotel and food and time away from work).

Looking at the undercovertourist page it looks like they don't have a plain 3 day ticket right now, but are sending a 4 day when you order a 3 day. So the "3" but really 4 day is 239.95.

The hopper is just about $300, but if you're just doing one WDW park per day you do NOT need that.

Universal's one day with them is about 87, a two day is about 123...you can see that the per day cost is already going down with just the 2 day...

So honestly it's more economical to go to WDW for more days than 3, and Universal for more days than 1, ticket-wise.

(said by a person whose first WDW/Universal trip was 17 days total, with 10 days at WDW parks and 4 days at Universal, and still didn't even scratch the surface, especially at WDW!)
