Hello:

I am curious as to what is the average length of stay at wdw resort with these high exchange rates.
We are travelling in april and I keep whittling it down a day or two but would really like to lengthen it, if it wasn't for the high exchange rate. We are looking at 7 or 8 days onsite, with one of those days just enjoying the animal kingdom lodge. It just seems like such a long drive down for just the 7 or 8 days there, but I guess that is how we have to do it with that exchange rate so high.

we stayed 10 nights in 2000 and plan on spending 10 nights again in april2002. that gives us 9 full days, 7 in the parks (we can use the buy one get one half price 7-day hopper deal) and 2 days to relax and use our "plusses' for water parks, etc. we would like to stay longer but with the exchange rate that's about all we will splurge for. it is a long drive down and we do not go yearly so we feel less than 10 nights just isn't worth it for us.

We stayed for 10 days in 2000 and are actually planning to stay for 15 in January 2002. The exchange rate is a bit of a problem but we are paying for the passes here in Canadian, and booked a package. Our biggest problem will be the food costs. We always try to minimize that by having cereal in our room in the mornings and stocking up on basics like peanut butter etc. to make sandwiches to take to the parks for snacks during the day. Really, the only meal we eat out is dinner, and except for splurging on the occasional character meal, we generally see an awful lot of the golden arches. Hey, it makes the kids happy AND it does give the budget a bit of a break!

Depends on whether you have visited WDW before, we have about 10 times with each stay about seven days.
There are other sites to see besides WDW. We saw the shuttle launch with Marc Garnieu last time in Florida and stayed at Cocoa Beach Condo ( not Disney) for four days. We usually drive 3 easy days on the road each way.

We are going for 14 days in Feb 2002. We used air miles for the flights and are staying at PO Riverside for $89.00USD. We paid that in '99 for ASMu. We will buy our passes for WDW, USF and Seaworld here to get the discounts. Even with the lousy exchange rate its bearable. We only stayed seven days the last two times and it wasn't long enough.
