What is the advantage of a Good Neighbor Hotel?

Is there any advantage to staying in an "official" good neighbor hotel??
Early Entry?
Etc. etc....

I got a quote for the Econolodge Main Gate for $106 TOTAL for TWO nights...
Cont. Break, & free shuttle every 10 minutes....

From my understanding it's this:
The "official" hotels may have the ability to sell certain passes at their desks. Also I believe they have to maintain a certain minimum standard in terms of cleanliness and service in order to quality as an "official" hotel.
