What is the 999 happy haunts ball?

I have read something about this but I can't remenber what it is. Can someone tell me about it and when it is?

It is a merchandise event that is happening at the Haunted Mansion on 10/31/02 but has long been sold out.

The event is taking place on Wednesday October 30, 2002 (not on Halloween) and will have dinner, a silent auction and other activities, along with some of the rides being open to attendees. The event sold out in early July, but I beleive there is a wait list. I suggest you contact WDW Event Services for more info.
