And where do I get it?

I could swear it was at Rainforest Cafe, but I may be wrong.

The searches are coming up with such a broad array of posts that it is easier to make a brand new post, LOL.

Thanks!!

At RFC you can get a really expensive cup that has a lightup feature (I'm drinking my water from it right now).

At DLR you can get the glowtini, and there's also a drink at PCH Grill (and likely other restaurants) that comes with a glowcube as well. That drink is delicious, and is partially organic and is over ten bucks. :upsidedow

There was also a non-boozy drink that a Canadian family got from the little window near French Market (they also sell the drinks that I'm forgetting the name of, that outside of Disneyland would be made with creme de menthe?), it was some sort of fruity thing and it came with a glowcube too. We sat with them for Fantasmic, and it was fun for them to have that glowcube. :)

Glowtini in the lounge at Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel mmmmmm

Unfortunately did not take a pic of the Rainforest cafe glasses...the glowing changing color part is right in the bottom of the glass as aposed to these being an actual cube in the drink.

They came out as the Year of a Million Dreams Tini.

I have 4 cubes! :rolleyes1

Delish. You can get them at the Hearthstone Lounge at the Grand if you want to relax in front of the fire and enjoy the ambiance!

I will be having one soon!

Bummer. I thought they were at RFC.

I can't see us dining at Steakhouse 55. With the exception of DH, we are not a steak kinda family. And I think DH would be shocked at the price.

Thanks for the info!!

Well you can get them at the lounge in the front of Steakhouse 55, it's a really nice lounge and they have awesome light foods like the ahi tuna sandwhich. Trouble is I don't think it's really a kids spot, where as you can have the kids in the restaurant. Breakfast at Steakhouse 55 was one of the best breakfasts, and best deals we had anywhere!! but it would be kinda funny ordering the drinks at breakfast...:rotfl: I would bet you could go to the lounge and buy the cubes, I bet they would sell them to you especially if you have kids with you and obviously can't sit there and drink!

I got one at Goofey's Kitchen... If you do get one, ask them to chill the martini or put a real ice cube in the glass- as it came out warm, and was not as tasty...

somebody did not make it right then! it is shaken in a shaker with ice, then strained into the glass, it should be nice and cold! our bartender came by after a few minutes and a few sips and topped up our glasses with the rest of what was in the shaker.... we had a couple of them, and another called a sunken treasure...then went back to the room and had a nap!! :lmao: good thing we only had to walk over to the dream tower....:rotfl:

Sunken treasure....

They have glowtinis at the Cove Bar, too.

But you know, you can get glow cubes in bulk at other places. Could just do that, bring the cubes, then buy the normal drink...:)

I think the drink I had was something like the Magical Star, or something like that.

Oh my goodness, my daughter had the sunken treasure while I had the 'tini!

We sampled each others! We will have to meet up some time! ;)

Nah. I don't need to buy the glowing cubes. Good idea though!

I just was imagining the look on DH's face if I did get a glowtini. He would be like "Huh?? What is THAT??". :rotfl:

The Mint Julep Bar (the little window a PP referred to) near the New Orleans Square train station was selling non-alcoholic drinks with the glow cubes when we bought funnel cake there about two weeks ago. I think the cubes were more than the drinks!

There are 4 different Glow-enhanced drinks at the various resort bars (Hearthstone Lounge, Lost Bar, Steakhouse 55 Lobby, Paradise Pier, and the Cove Bar at DCA).

There is the Magical Star Cocktail, which is really fruity and yummy. That one has the color changing cube. The Blue Glowtini, which has the solid blue cube. And there are two punch drinks for kids that have a glowing Tinkerbell or Lightning McQueen toy on them (the boy option used to be a Captain Hook).

But I really do recommend the Magical Star Cocktail, but the darn thing is about $11! But it's still very tasty. If you want something to pack a good punch that hits you out of nowhere, I most DEFINITELY suggest the Captain's Rum Runner. Two of those things will get you right to a happy place in no time flat!

Did you play around with the glowtini cube? Because with the magical star cube, just clicking the button on the bottom a certain number of times caused it to do certain things...red light, off, green light, off, blue light, off, cycle of lights....

I might play with my glowcube sometimes...what of it? :3dglasses:rolleyes1:dance3:

I didn't mean that the blue cube *only* glowed blue, i know it has different "Flash Modes," (3 specifically, just different glowing patterns) but while the Magical Star cocktail cube has several different colors, the blue only has blue.

And yes, the Multi colored cube can be set to solid color modes as well as the color changing mode, but it still features more colors than just blue.

shhhh...I play with mine too.... ;) When we were there, in the grocery store they sold bottled blue hawaiians... they don't really taste the same as a mixed one, but they were pretty good.... we used our "cubes" in them after...I think they may have tasted better because of the cube...and the DLH coaster...lol...:lmao:
