What is Taste of Vero?

I was looking at our Member Guidebook and way in the back it has calendars with special things going on at various DVC resorts.

Each May it says "Tast of Vero".

Does anyone know what this is? Is it something at the resort or in the town of VB?

I tried finding info on the web but all I came up with was that this year was the 4th Annual Taste of Vero. Usually these events are charity related and all the different restaurants offer samplings of their food for small prices. My guess is that it is held down along the beachfront area of Vero Beach proper (near the Ocean Grill). I'd be curious to know more, too.

The most recent Taste of Vero even was on April 27, 2002, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. along Vero's Beash, according to http://www.thetreasurecoastalmanac.com

But I didn't see any details about the event.

OCEANSIDE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION


The seventh annual "Taste of Vero," sponsored by the Oceanside Business Association, will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. April 27. The event, which will serve delicacies from more than 20 local restaurants, will be held on the streets and inside the stores along Ocean Drive, Beachland Boulevard, and Easter Lily Lane.
