What is SSR like at Christmas time? Any pics?

Just looking for how SSR gets into the Christmas spirit. We were hoping to get a 2bd at AKL but it looks like we are more likely to get SSR. I'm looking forward to it, haven't stayed there yet but I wanted more info on how decorated it is, do people put up trees, etc. Thanks!

The dedicated DVC resorts have less decorations than the co-located ones. Disney's Deluxe resorts are better decorated so you can share their decorations when staying at BCV, BWV, VWL, and AKV.

I remember seeing a very nice pointsettia Christmas tree near the entrance to the main lobby. It's been awhile since we've been there in December. You're just a boat ride from DTD which has lots of decorations and I like walking around there when the CP music is piped in.

I hope your waitlist comes through! I wouldn't give up on it yet!
