We will be in DL and DCA this spring with 3 daughters who are looking forward to all the Frozen changes. DH and I are looking forward to it as well but maybe not EVERY Frozen change, since it seems like there a lot. With it opening this week I thought I would ask all who have seen some of the changes, What are the Frozen Must Sees and what can wait or possibly be skipped?

THANKS

We are in line now to meet Anna & Elsa. Meeting Olaf was awesome! Definitely a must do! My daughter loved sledding and playing in the snow also. The dance party was kind of a dud, but we enjoyed getting our picture taken with Marshmallow.

will these activities still be there this summer?

Anna and Elsa are reportedly a permanent fixture at the Animation Building in Hollywood Land. I think they are there to stay.

As for Freeze the Night -- there is a rumor that Mad T Party could, perhaps, return in May. If Freeze the Night is popular enough, I think we've seen the last of Mad T Party, but we'll see.

Both Olaf's Snow Fest and the sing-along at the Muppets Theater (a.k.a. the Crown Jewel, or whatever it is called now) are supposed to just be in place until May. However, I would not be shocked if we see them stick around beyond May -- or possibly leave and come back soon after, "by popular demand."

The DIS Unplugged team recently commented in their podcast about the fact that none of these events feel very "temporary" -- most of them have a permanent feel to them.

The Arendelle addition to the Storybook Land Canal Boats is permanent.

The current show at the Royal Theatre in FL is all Frozen right now, but supposedly the regular shows will return after a while.

Olaf's Frozen Ice Rink and the Winter Village in DTD are there through February 22nd.

I went today, and as an adult, I'd say the must dos are the Royal Theatre show in Disneyland and the sing-along in DCA. The former was hilarious- definitely some jokes that went over the kid's heads, but nothing wrong with that. If you've seen the Beauty and the Beast or Tangled shows at the Royal Theatre, you know what you're getting. Probably my favorite of the park shows honestly. The sing-along was also fun, and a must-do for kids. That show is currently your only opportunity to see Kristoff (as far as I can tell), so keep that in mind.

Also checked out the Freeze the Night show, and while it is certainly more family-friendly than Tea Party was, I was really disappointed. (No live band????) Didn't do meet or greets or the snow (just flew back from the east coast; I've had enough of the real stuff), but do plan on going to the animation academy on the next trip. (Was aiming to do the Marshmallow drawing, but friend and I got there in time for Olaf and didn't feel like waiting around.)

Frozen themed commercials are airing in Utah. They end with "through May 2015". Not sure which elements they are referencing but I thought it was interesting they gave a date.

We walked right into the snow play area today and it is really pretty inside there. Looks just like the Arendelle courtyard. The white hot chocolate in there was really good. The sledding was fun - they clear out the area every 15 min so you really get only 1 run. The sing a long was really fun too. Nice watching the kids get into it. We have yet to do the Olaf meet and the dance party and the Royal Theater show. Canal boats are cute.

The May 2015 date is actually not new. It's the generic, supposedly temporary, date that was give by the Disney Parks Blog when Frozen Fun was first announced last year. They'll continue to say May 2015 as the end date for everything, because they're going to wait and see how popular all of the Frozen Fun elements are. They wouldn't announce right now that some things might be open longer, even if they will be. They will wait and do it -- like I mentioned in my above post -- in a "back by popular demand" sort of way.

A pizza, onion rings, maybe some fries. Oh and ice cream. Peppermint Wonderland ice cream. Yum
Then....maybe some tums. Lol
