What is it like to be a mom at Disneyland

I asked my own mom about what it was like for her to handle me at Disneyland, and I made this video based on her experience:

But I'm interested in what the experience is like for other moms/parents, was it more fun?

I love going to DL with my kids. They are currently 7 and 9 and we just returned from a trip to DL a couple of days ago. We definitely had moments of "I want to go on THAT ride" and "I want to buy THIS" but we minimized it by avoiding most of the stores and by giving each child a set amount of spending money. Also, I ask my kids to pick THE #1 thing that they want to do at Disneyland more than anything and I make sure that we do that the first day. And we all go in with the expectation that everything else is icing on the cake.
