First off, the podcast team has really raised the bar these past few weeks with the subjects of the second podcast - very fun and warming to hear how Disney affects others like you.
My take on this week's subject - Disney to me is all about reconnecting with my family outside of the craziness of the real world - one of the last places we can eliminate most daily distractions, yes even phones/ipads/computers, and enjoy each other's company amidst the joy and excitement of the place.
I went for the first time, since the late 70's, with my family and sister in laws family. Four kids, 8,9,10,10 - first time for all. I created a blog and posted something about the parks every day and had the kids (as well as the adults) comment on each post. When we got back I exchanged all the stock photos with our trip photos and exported the blog into a hard cover book. I can't look at the book without getting that feeling of togetherness and every time we go back (3 times since then) the feeling persists.
