What is going to happen to National Grid electric rates in upsate NY

We use National Grid as our electric supplier. They keep sending me emails about a 45 minute webinar on May 7 about their new pricing and how we can budget for it . Has anyone heard what is going to be happening with their rates in the future . I'm sure they are going up but how much??

can't stand NG..... You have to love a company that charges for "deviation from normal temperatures" as a reason for hitting you with an additional charge. Unreal....

If you own your home and you qualify look into going solar. Solarcity offers various packages and lease options that are very affordable. Your state or city may even have incentive programs.

National Grid, because they are a huge multinational, uses all types of energy. Although they don't make- they just deliver it. In Western NY, where I live, we use primarily hydro (Niagara Falls) and nuclear.

NG offers a program in most of their US markets where you can pay slightly more each month to elect to use a renewable source such as solar. Its a nice option if you can afford it. Makes you feel a bit better about running the AC in the summer and whatnot.

Luckily we haven't had to deal with National Grid in years although they do like to call wanting our business back. LOL No thanks!

lucky you. I have never heard of them lowering rates. I hate NG actual usage is 10 dollars and all the fees and taxes they tack on you pay double what you use.
