What is going on in April and how busy?

I noticed that there is not alot of air availability from the NE corridor to Orlando and was wondering if there is an event I overlooked. I always pick a date w/ something going on. Didn't reallly try to plan this time. Just picked a date to rescheduled from our September trip we never took thanks to Hurricane Frances

We are flying down 4/28 for 3 days @ WDW and then on to our 1st ever Disney Cruise!

Also, how busy is that time of year? I have been to Disney for Easter, 3 times the 1st week in December, and once in October. For the most part, it wasn't really busy except for Easter.

Since Easter is so early this year, a few weeks after our mid-winter break, NYC public schools will have spring break during Passover. (April 25-29) Some Long Island and a few other northeast school systems are out the week.

We had to reschedule our March trip and it sounds like we picked some good dates. We'll be there April 17th-24th.

FYI, Spring Break for all of New England is the Week of April 17th-24th. We'll be there. I'm sure many will be from the NE area. Hoping, though, that it won't be quite so crowded as a typical April visit because of the early Easter date.

That's kind of what I'm hoping for as well. I would rather take my chances with Spring Break, since not all schools take it at the same time, than with Easter.

My DH and I will be there 4/23-4/30. We are hoping it will not be too crowded. Nor too hot!!!

Grog, you have picked the exact week that New Englanders will be down there, including us! We'll be there 13th-24th (taking first cruise in between DW), so prepare yourself to hear lots and lots of Boston accents!! :D

You know, pahk the caaa in the haavid yaaaad. :cool1:

I'm looking forward to it. During Superbowl week, Houston sounded like "Boston South" there were so many New Englanders here :D

We're going from April 2 through the 9th. I fully expect it to be packed, but our two high schoolers can't afford to miss any school this year. I'll book tons of PS's and enjoy our garden wing room at the CR! (First time on the monorail!)
I'll see you guys at the fast pass machine!
