What is going on at the Grand Floridian DVC buildings in Aug/Sep 2023?

Why is all of August blocked out for the 1 bed standard view? And at 10 months out? The refurb is done in the original villas building.

And then in Sept, similar issue for standard/lagoon view resort studios at the 11 month window:

It's not just VGF, the site is messed up this morning. It shows full availability for all resorts from time to time, others it won't show but when you do a drop down of the calendar it shows available. It also shows 0 points for all nights in January for several resorts.

ETA: On the upside it won't actually let you book if there is no availability (even if it shows it's available).....
 

That's good. We don't need any repeats of the VGC glitches that have happened in the past.
I think calling the VGC overbookings a ‘glitch’ is putting it mildly, in my mind it was at best a debacle. Since we have DVC reservations starting in 40+ days I’m very glad the site won’t let anyone book these phantom villas like happened w/ VGC - I’d hate to lose those 11 month VGF bookings due to yet another tech debacle in the RAT.
 
Hmm. I guess I'll be the guinea pig.

The system showed availability and let me book the one night I've had waitlisted since the 7 month window opened. (Boardwalk NYE)

I got a confirmation email for the reservation, but I'm not cancelling the night at another resort until I'm absolutely sure this wasn't a glitch...

By early afternoon it was showing correctly. There was another thread in Member Services about this and it was across several resorts.

It was this morning (~10:30am EST) and it looked like nights in November and January were glitching when I booked.

I figured I had nothing to lose since I wouldn't have to cancel anything to book, and it let the reservation go through/be linked in MDE/do the check-in process in the app.

I'm cautiously optimistic. If I don't get a call from Disney in a week, someone else can get my CCV studio.
