We are still hoping to buy into DVC but was wondering what the current offer was. Is it still $10 off per point or you can have comp points upfront.
last we checked that was the deal and there were no payments until April.
Is it the same? Also does anyone know what month they are into now? I know I could call our guide but I figured I could just as easily find out the answer here.
I Just want to buy already!!!!!! LOL

I just bought at SSR. They offered me a choice: they could give me 150 points I could use right now, or if I didn't go before 3/31, they would take $1500 of the total cost. That's what I went for, and then I booked a trip for 4/17. They are also offering $100 off AP's. Or $125 off PAP's. There are also various discounts members can enjoy, but they are subject to change. Like, certain restaurants, spa treatments, tours, etc.
I hope this helps! Keep us posted! :flower:

You know the NIKE motto "JUST DO IT ! "

I know the folks at DVC want to sell DVC'S. They need to sell DVC'S and so most of the time they are selling their bottom line..and throwing in alot of great incentives and reasons for you to purchase now. It took us 4 or 5 trips to WDW to finally take the plunge and do it ! My wife, DD and I will be taking our first trip home in 9 weeks and can't wait. When their offices were located at Boardwalk Villas we had gone into to see them 3 times in like 4 years and on the 3 visit we made our purchase. It was a good thing we did it last march. first of all they were now selling SSR and not offering 38 years but 50 years. We took advantage of their 150 point rebate and applied it toward the purchase of DVC and we were informed the price of the DVC was set to go up the next month which it did by I believe $1300. Points we considered.

- We had an extra 12 years of DVC ownership compared to the members who bought in just a year previous.

- We saved 150 points in the first year and applied it to the purchase.

- We saved approx: 1300 dollars by buying in March as apposed to April.

- We saved on the real estate and legal fees by buying direct from DVC and not a resale.

I would imagine there are more great incentives like that to make your decission making easier. I also know that I can give this away to my DD when she is older allowing her great memories with her future family. What a great family tradition. I can bet when she gets married I know where she will be taking her honeymoon.

Anyways... good luck in figuring this out and hope you "JUST DO IT ".

I am not sure if this has been posted before, but I was told that the current incentive will be ending Jan. 8th.

Hi there,

Just in case I can get my wife drunk (It has worked twice before) sometimes she forgets and then the papers arrive, which is funny.
