What is credit card hold amount for Deluxe?

Does anyone know the hold amount on credit cards for room charges at Deluxe resorts? It looks like our package balance is due at check in. How much do the hold for room charges? And how is it updated when/if you hit that limit?

They don't really hold the amount. They just do an authorization, but nothing is charged, until you check out, meet your limit, or ask them to charge it.

Deluxe resorts are $1500, but if you get close, and think you will need more, just ask them to go ahead and charge your card, and start over w/ a new $1500 limit
